How Sunless Works: The Solution
Due to an increase in spray-on tanning, DHA solutions have experienced tremendous growth in the past few years. Typically, there are three types of bronzers that are used in sunless spray solution. A cosmetic bronzer is visible immediately after being sprayed, but will wash off after showering. A DHA bronzer initially has no visible effect, but will begin to react with the skin in two to four hours and develop color. Erythrulose is a slower-reacting bronzer and is similar to DHA.
With or without the addition of cosmetic bronzers, the solutions use roughly the same ratio of DHA--3 percent to 5 percent--and are available in different viscosities for different purposes. The tan that is produced is absolutely water-resistant and diminishes only as the dead cells of the stratum corneum flake off. It should be noted, though, that the tan is purely cosmetic and does not provide the protection that a traditional tan would.
The sunless spray solution consists of DHA (dihydroxyacetone), a sugarcane derivative and a cosmetic bronzer that gives you an instant tan. It is UV-free, 100% all natural, healthy and safe. The DHA has been FDA approved for 30 years and has no allergic reports. The DHA reacts with the amino acids in the outer layers (epidermis) of your skin. The reaction develops a beautiful golden tan and will look natural and fade naturally as if it came from the sun.

I know how to get the results you desire in a minimum amount of time. I use Colour Couture's signature solution “Socialite” and "Bombshell" which is in a base of Organic Aloe Vera Gel and is odorless, fast drying and paraben free. This triple bronzing solution of 11% DHA gives a great golden brown color and can be manipulated lighter or darker depending on your preferences.
PLEASE NOTE: Colour Couture tanning solution does not contain UV protection. Always wear sunscreen. Colour Couture tanning solution will give you a natural, golden-brown color. There is NO orange discoloration.
